About Me
For 26 years, I’ve helped others realize their dreams—both as a music industry professional and as a leader in academia. This unique combination of experiences provides a powerful perspective from which to empower and inspire others to achieve their God-given purpose in the marketplace.
Brandon Egerton, Founder
I am a 26-year music industry professional & career development coach. My passion and career work has been dedicated to nurturing and developing the careers of others—whether it be my decade of experience as an A&R Executive for EMI Music (now Motown Gospel), my experience leading degree programs at Full Sail University for the past 14 years, or the past 16 years of guiding the careers of music entrepreneurs via my consultancy, Sideman Music Consulting.
At the core of the role of A&R/artist development is the responsibility of shepherding and facilitating creative vision. It involves understanding and cultivating the artist’s unique vision, goals, and value proposition and charting a path forward to see that creative vision come to life. It is this context and perspective that guides my approach to working with all of my clients—both music-related and non-music-related. I believe there is a unique purpose and value that we all can contribute to the world. I’m here to help you unlock the best version of yourself.
During my career I’ve been involved in the creation, promotion, and release of over 200 albums/projects from Grammy, Dove & Stellar award winning/nominated artists such as: Kierra Sheard, Smokie Norful, Aaron Neville, CeCe Winans, Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers, T.D. Jakes, The Clark Sisters, Tye Tribbett, Koryn Hawthorne, Aoife O’Donovan, and many others.
In addition to providing consulting services and career coaching, I am also the Education Director of Audio Arts at Full Sail University where I oversee the university’s Recording Arts, Audio Production, Show Production, and Music Production programs.
